Is Reiki religious?
No Reiki is not connected to any specific religion.
How does it work?
Your Reiki practitioner has been attuned to the Reiki frequency just like your radio that's been tuned into your favourite radio station. Practitioners will hold their hand over parts of your body starting from your head all the way down to your feet, some practitioners prefer to hold their hand positions just above the body (no contact). Energy channelled through the practitioner is directed to your 7 main chakras from top of head to base of your spine and where ever else the energy needs to go.

Yes Reiki can be combined with chemotherapy it can help manage symptoms like, pain, Fatigue, nausea and anxiety.
Can animals receive Reiki?
Animals do benefit from Reiki my cat loves it but she doesn't hang around too long, horses are known to love Reiki too. Animals are highly sensitive to energy so will generally really enjoy it.
Can everyone receive Reiki?
There are some circumstances where Reiki is not advised, PACEMAKERS Using Reiki may interfere with the rhythm of the implanted pacemaker, which would not be a desirable result. BROKEN BONES or FRACTURES you will need to make sure the bones need resetting before Reiki can be administered.
